About Jerry…

Although not a native species, Jerry immigrated to the Rio Grande Valley in 1993 when he joined South Texas College. He has spent more than 15 years at the college helping Valley-ites achieve their dreams. A master of higher education, Jerry is a great part of the STC family and fills in where ever he is needed from student services, to building maintenance, to instruction. At any given time he can be spotted at any one of STC’s five campus locations. He is a master of the prowl and zebra hunting. He enjoys watching shows on Animal Planet, kicking back at the island, bar-be-queing at the ranch, competing in marathons, and visiting family and friends spread across zoos in North America.
